Welcome to the Seedling and Nest Infant Classrooms
Seedlings -6 Weeks to Crawling
The Seedling Room is a calm, nurturing environment designed for our youngest learners during their earliest months of growth and development.
At this stage, babies thrive through close relationships, consistency, and gentle care. Our teachers focus on building strong bonds with each child, creating a sense of safety and trust that supports healthy emotional and physical development.
Throughout the day, infants are given individualized attention based on their unique routines for feeding, sleeping, and play. We provide a peaceful atmosphere with soft lighting, soothing colors, and minimal overstimulation to promote comfort and security.
Our caregivers support early milestones through:
-
Tummy time and movement exploration
-
Sensory experiences with soft, natural materials
-
Language development through talking, singing, and reading
-
Responsive care that follows each child’s cues
In the Seedling Room, every moment is centered around connection, comfort, and gentle growth—helping each baby build a strong foundation for the next stage.
Nest Room - Crawling to Walking
The Nest Room is designed for infants who are becoming more mobile, curious, and engaged with the world around them.
As children begin to crawl, pull up, and take their first steps, this environment supports safe exploration while encouraging independence and confidence.
Our teachers create a balance of structure and flexibility, allowing children to explore freely while still receiving the nurturing care they need. The space is intentionally designed with soft surfaces, open areas, and developmentally appropriate materials that promote movement and discovery.
In this stage, we focus on:
-
Encouraging mobility (crawling, standing, walking)
-
Building early independence and confidence
-
Expanding language through interaction and play
-
Introducing simple routines and social experiences
Children in the Nest Room are supported as they transition from infants to toddlers—developing curiosity, coordination, and a growing sense of self.
