Now Enrolling
for Fall 2026

We never want parents to feel pressured to choose a childcare center based solely on affordability. We want you to choose a center they truly love. Due to this, a matched tuition rate equal to any group childcare center in Merrimack will be honored. (Yearly increases will be applied in September)
Joppa - Waddlers
Walking to Age 2
About Our Classroom
Welcome to our Waddler Classroom, where little feet are on the move, curiosity is growing, and every day brings exciting new adventures!
Our classroom is specially designed for our walking infants through 2 years old. At this exciting stage of development, children are discovering their independence, exploring their surroundings, and learning new skills every day.
We provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where our little learners are encouraged to explore, play, and grow at their own pace. Our caring teachers offer guidance, encouragement, and plenty of love as children take their first steps toward greater independence.
We believe that learning happens through hands-on experiences, meaningful interactions, and the freedom to explore the world around them.
Learning Through Movement & Discovery
Our daily activities are thoughtfully designed to encourage:
-
Gross Motor Development: Walking, climbing, dancing, balancing, and building coordination through active play.
-
Fine Motor Development: Stacking blocks, turning pages, scribbling, sorting objects, and strengthening hand-eye coordination.
-
Language Development: Learning new words, identifying familiar objects, singing songs, listening to stories, and beginning to express wants and needs.
-
Social & Emotional Growth: Building friendships, practicing gentle interactions, expressing emotions, and developing trusting relationships with teachers.
-
Cognitive Development: Exploring cause and effect, matching, sorting, problem-solving, and discovering how things work.
-
Sensory Exploration: Engaging in age-appropriate activities involving textures, colors, sounds, water, and hands-on materials.
-
Independence & Self-Help Skills: Encouraging children to participate in simple routines such as handwashing, feeding themselves, cleaning up toys, and making small choices.
A Day in Our Classroom
Our days are filled with movement, laughter, exploration, and exciting learning opportunities!
Children enjoy a balance of structured activities and child-led play, including music and movement, sensory experiences, art, story time, outdoor play, and hands-on discovery.
As our little learners become more independent, we introduce predictable daily routines that help them develop confidence, security, and a sense of belonging.
Our teachers gently guide children through early social experiences, helping them practice sharing space, taking turns, using simple words, and expressing their feelings in positive ways.
We recognize that every child develops differently and celebrate each milestone, whether it's learning a new word, climbing independently, or making a new friend.
Growing Independence
The Waddler stage is filled with exciting changes! Children are beginning to discover that they can do more things on their own.
Our teachers support this growing independence by providing opportunities for children to make choices, explore new challenges, and develop important self-help skills.
We encourage independence while offering the reassurance, patience, and loving support that young children need to feel safe and successful.
Our Promise to Families
We understand that these early years are some of the most important in a child's development. Our goal is to provide a loving, supportive classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to grow.
We believe in strong partnerships with families through open communication, individualized attention, and a shared commitment to each child's development and happiness.
